When we photographed this family group of gravestones back in 2014 the area was very much overgrown but when we returned in 2026 we can see much work has been done to the area and looks like the work will continue.  It is very difficult for churches to maintain plots once family can no longer do so - the choice is to pay for it to be kept tidy or rely on volunteers.  It was very pleasing to see much work has been carried out recently to many parts of the graveyard - well done to those who do the work.

As you can see from our photographs, two of the gravestones lie flat so we cannot see the inscriptions.  We did photograph one of them on our previous visit but a lot of the inscription was hidden by ivy.  Thanks to the clearing work we can see the upright gravestones much better.  We have included our original photographs as well as our recent ones.
