The first time we visited Bromham we chose a very busy day indeed - a flower festival was taking place inside the church and it was the day of the village fete.  Our thanks go to those people who took the time to make us feel welcome despite the activities of their day.  The image of grown men dressed as Fresian cows dancing their way through the village during the carnival will remain with us!  Our second visit thirteen years later was much more peaceful as it was just us and one (very enthusiastic and informative) church member there.  Most of the photographs we took in 2002 were actually shots taken from video footage and are of very poor quality and in 2015 we were armed with a digital camera so could replace the originals with better ones.  Amazingly we took 1294 photographs that day but had run out of battery and time before photographing the graveyard; looks like we might need to return again!
