The latest of Swindon's murals appeard in July 2019 and is located in Regent Place, in the centre of town, on the wall of the steps leading up to the Wyvern Theatre.  Painted by Martin Travers and assisted by Peter Crowdy, it includes a silouette of Swindon buildings and other references to Swindon, including a Great Bustard which apparently represents both Swindon and Wiltshire (we didn't know that!), and a quote from Richard Jefferies.  It certainly cheers up this otherwise rather dull space.

We made a special journey to go and take photographs only to find a container was parked right in front of it!  Oh well.  On the bright side, when we returned a couple of weeks later, two new things had been added to the mural, so it turned out for the best in the end.
