John Aubrey travelled around Wiltshire in the 1660s, visiting churches, taking notes as he went.   In some instances friends were asked to make the visit, and this is the case with Rodbourne Cheney.

John Aubrey died before was able to research and publish his notes.   Some two hundred years later John Jackson undertook this task, and below are his corrections and updated information.
