This lake and grassed area lies adjacent to the car parks of the West District Centre.  It is a quiet oasis compared to the very busy Centre and roads that surround it.  Sadly the fountain in the lake broke years ago and has not been repaired so the water quality is poor - even allowing birds to walk on top of the water to find food.
