St. Swithun's church in Little Hinton (also known as Hinton Parva) dates back to at least 1172 (according to the history leaflet available inside the church).   It is quite a thrill to go inside such an old building!   And to find it in such good condition and know it is being cared for is a bonus.   Of course changes will have been made during those eight hundred years and the leaflet gives a few examples.
