Great Bedwyn is located south of the road between Marlborough and Hungerford. Apart from this
beautiful church there are other places locally well worth a visit. A couple of things come to mind - the canal,
the nearby Wilton Windmill, Savernake Forest, Chisbury and Little Bedwyn to name but a few.
Great Bedwyn has a number of places of interest itself - take a look at its own website:
greatbedwyn.com for
inspiration and in particular the walk around Great Bedwyn:

However, do not miss visiting the church. The outside is quite distinguished being made of flint stone and has fine
windows. The building seems large for the size of the village and inside is a wealth of history. Our thanks go
to a church member who took us around and told us so much more than is written in the history leaflet. His enthusiasm
was well deserved and an asset to this church.
