The outside of the beautiful parish church of St. Mary the Virgin in Great Bedwyn is quite distinguished being made of flint stone and has fine windows.  The building seems large for the size of the village and inside is a wealth of history.  Our thanks go to a church member who took us around and told us so much more than is written in the history leaflet.  His enthusiasm was well deserved and an asset to this church.
