Porch (Inside) Windows (Outside) Gravestones: B C D F H K M N S T W Entry in Wiltshire Collections |
|
Our visit to Alderton was on a dark and stormy day in August. Although occasionally blue sky
did appear through the cloud and rain, it still was not bright enough to take decent photographs.
If we are passing here again when there is better weather, we shall stop and take some more photographs.
John Aubrey's entry in the Wiltshire Collections book uses the spelling Aldrington. Also included are a
few transcriptions of memorials to be found inside the church, and a description of the Manor House which no
longer exists.
