Inside The Church of St. Sampson, Cricklade, Wiltshire

St. Sampson's church is a very pleasing building to visit.  There is so much to see - beautiful stained glass windows, corbels, the tower and much more.  A small guide/history leaflet is available inside the church which will help point out interesting features.  The people we spoke to on our three visits to the church were very welcoming and helpful to us, and very enthusiastic about their church!  They are rightly pleased with their efforts of raising money for essential repair work to the building - £32,000 had been spent in the last two years prior to our visit - quite an achievement for a small town.  Fundraising is an on-going task, just as the repair and maintenance of the building is.
