The graveyard at St. Mary's is spread over a large area and commands an impressive view over the
beautiful countryside and village. You may notice some of our photographs have cut off the top or
bottom of a gravestone - this is due to our not being able to stand far enough away from a stone to fit it
in the frame; some of the graveyard is on a steep hill and it is too dangerous to stand in the desired position.
There are many old gravestones which are not accessible due to them being inside a nature area where visitors
are requested not to go. Other stones are extremely difficult to read due to erosion. If you
download a full size image you should be able to read - even if with difficulty - the inscription; you may
have to zoom in to see the more eroded ones. Please inform us if you notice an error with our names -
some are a guess. Thank you
