The church of Saint Mary the Virgin at Longcot is a small but beautiful place to visit. Inside there
is a feeling of serenity - a peaceful place to spend a while. The church members were welcoming and obviously
care a great deal about their building which has recently undergone necessary repairs (the newly varnished wooden pew
floors did look wonderful!).
The history leaflet available inside the church is easy to read yet full of factual information about the church and
the village. Any dates and information shown on these web pages are taken from this leaflet.
