The Fovant Badges are just outside the village and are an impressive site - far larger than we imagined. There is a well placed lay-by to view the badges, with information about them. Fundraising for conservation and cleaning is an on-going project as the costs involved are vast.

Visit the Fovant Badges website for information about them - it has much better photographs than ours. Not only do the hills undulate making the pictures distorted, but we always seem to visit on a dull or hazy day and our photographs simply are not very good; however, we decided to include them here to at least give an idea of what these memorials look like.
