George Rede Memorial at St. George, Fovant

The ancient brass is hung of the north wall of the Chancel.   The text reads:   "Pray for the Soul of Sir George Rede, formerly Rector of the Church of Fovant, at the time of the building of the new Tower, A.D. 1495.   On whose Soul may God have mercy.   Amen."
