Whilst trying to find the parish church at Draycot Cerne, we came across this small church just outside the village.   We have been informed it is Draycot Cerne Mortuary Chapel, built in 1883 by Lord Cowley.   It is no longer used for worship and is run by the Churches Conservation Trust.

Due to there being a smashed window, we could see inside to take these few photographs.   You will see the inside is looking rather sorry for itself.   However, the graveyard was well tended so somebody is obviously looking after it.

We hope to return to the chapel to photograph all the gravestones.
