Text by John Aubrey (1660s)
Notes by John Jackson (1860s)
John Aubrey travelled around Wiltshire in the 1660s, visiting churches and manor houses, taking notes as he went.
Aubrey died before he was able to research and publish his notes. Some two hundred years later John Jackson
undertook this task, and below are his corrections and updated information.
The original print area is approximately 15cm wide. Depending on the size of your screen, the clarity of the text may have deteriorated.
