We did not have enough time during our visit to Amesbury to appreciate all there is to take in about
this building and its surroundings, and we hope to go back in the future. The church is often open for visitors
and a member is on hand to answer questions or show one around - our thanks go to those who gave us a warm welcome.
Unfortunately our camera was on a lower quality setting than we usually use for taking our photographs, and quite a
few were not usable on these pages. (Rather annoying, and this was the case for about 4 churches we visited
before we noticed.) In particular the many photographs of the bosses and corbels on the ceilings just did not
come out well.
Another reason to return is we have no photographs of the gravestones in the surrounding churchyard. No doubt
we will return to finish off photographing this church.
