Gravestones at Holy Cross, Ashton Keynes, Wiltshire
The churchyard at Ashton Keynes covers a large area and has some very old gravestones as well as more
modern ones. We have photographed roughly three quarters of the area, and hope to return to photograph the
remaining ones.
Many of the older stones are very difficult to read as the inscription has eroded. All the inscriptions in our
photographs here can be read - or at least some of the words are readable, even if with difficulty. If you
download the full size photograph you can zoom in to read the inscriptions more easily. If you notice an error
in our spelling or interpretation of an inscription, please tell us so we can put it right. Thank you
