This is our interpretation of the inscription on this information sheet and therefore might not be accurate.


Near this place lie interred the Mortal Remains
of ELIZABETH RUDDLE GIBBS,
Daughter of JAMES & MARY GIBBS,
formerly of ETCHILLAMPTON in this County,
who died at BRISTOL January 27th 1816, Aged 26 years,
to whose Memory this Monument is erected by
her disconsolate Mother and affectionate Brother,
as a token of their sincere and unfeigned regard.

In the same Vault is also interred
the above MARY GIBBS her Mother,
who died at Bristol on the 26th May 18-0
Aged 7- Years.
